Financial Obligations
A non-refundable application fee is payable with the student’s application. Tuition is due on the date chosen when setting up your FACTS account, and a late charge will be assessed in accordance with our tuition and fee schedule. Tuition payments begin in August and conclude in May or June of each school year depending upon the 10- or 11-month plan selected. A $25.00 charge will be made for all returned checks. Actions will be taken to dismiss from school any student(s) with accounts that are more than one month delinquent.
No Refunds
In the event of an early withdrawal, there is no refund available for any portion of the tuition and fees paid. This includes the first tuition payment in August which is not to be considered as pre-payment, but instead, the first installment towards the annual tuition amount and is not refundable.
All textbooks are the property of Stoneybrooke Christian School and must be returned at the conclusion of the school year or upon leaving the school. Should textbooks not be returned, parents will be responsible for the cost of replacing the books.
Students are responsible for payment of textbooks or library books that are damaged or lost within the course of the school year. Students’ tuition accounts will be billed for the cost of replacing the book(s).
A non-refundable re-enrollment fee is due in February. As a convenience for parents, this fee is payable in two installments.
Although the expense for regular field trips is included in your tuition, the cost of spring trips and Junior High retreat are not and are the separate responsibility of parents. The entire cost of spring trips will be billed in equal installments prior to the departure of the trip and will appear on your tuition bill. Due to various trip dates, some trips will be payable in four to eight monthly payments. The Washington DC trip (8th grade) and Sacramento trip (4th grade) fees are paid directly to our tour vendor. Parents must register on the tour website and set up payments to the vendor.
If a student is unable to attend a spring trip, the parent is responsible for any expenses not reimbursed by the trip vendor.
In cases of separation or divorce, each parent is solely responsible for any and all charges incurred for the benefit of his or her child(ren). Should the parents desire to split payments of that account, they may do so between themselves and then remit payment in full to Stoneybrooke. Only one account will be opened for each family.
Automatic Re-Enrollment
Stoneybrooke will automatically re-enroll every student unless the parent directly indicates in writing (letter or email) that the school should release the spot for the following school year.
If the school does not hear from the parent by the designated date, the assumption will be made that the child is re-enrolling and the school will then “save a seat for them.” The parent will be responsible for the entire re-enrollment fee.
Re-enrollment fees will automatically be billed to students’ accounts in February and March of each school year and are non-refundable. The school will assume that the first dollars received in those months should be applied to re-enrollment.
